Our passion is our commitment:

Since 1989, when friends, whose children had outgrown two English Springer Spaniels, Toby & Cassie, and gave them to us, our family has been in love with the dogs of this breed.  Over the years, we have had thirteen joyful Springers, which we have bred selectively.... because we enjoy raising a litter of puppies, and passing on the joy!

Our passion for Springer Spaniels has become our commitment:  Our dogs are family members for life.  The dams have one or two litters before retirement, and, they remain in our family.  We do not breed simply springers as farm animals to produce litter after litter like a crop, only to be farmed out when they no longer produce.  Our four paw friends are at play always, always bringing our family laughter & joy!  

We have enjoyed lasting relationships & friendships with our veterinarians over many years. Dr. Hani Shatila of Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital, took care of our dogs for over thirty years & became a close family friend before his well earned retirement.  Dr. John Ashbaugh, has been our been sister Nan's go-to vet since 2009; and, will be performing the hips, elbow, eyes puppy screening for our litter, as well as full PBA/DNA health testing for our Sire, Ernie, & Dam, Elsie.  OFA/CERF clear eye screening will be performed by Veterinary Ophthalmologist, Dr. Francesca Venturi, 5040 Convoy, San Diego, CA.  And last, but not least, Dr. Sandy Ullman of Encinitas Veterinary Hospital, has reserved two of our puppies to join her family's sweet old dog beach Springer!  Springers rule!

When you pick a Silly Springer puppy,  you will be taking home a happy, healthy, little creature!
